About Biblical Lessons From Lives

At Biblical Lessons From Lives, we believe the Bible is more than a collection of doctrines, themes, and teachings it is the story of real people whose lives still speak with power today. 

While biblical doctrine is essential, we believe some of God's greatest lessons are revealed through the lives of those He chose to include in Scripture. From kings and prophets to shepherds, widows, fishermen, and ordinary men and women, every person faced decisions, victories, failures, moments of faith, and seasons of doubt. Their stories were preserved by God because they still have something to teach us. 

Our mission is to bring these biblical lives to life through engaging books, Bible studies, workbooks, podcasts, videos, and teaching resources that are faithful to Scripture, historically grounded, and practical for everyday living. We seek to move beyond simply telling what happened by exploring why it happened, what it reveals about the character of God, and how those timeless lessons apply to our lives today. 

Our growing library includes published works and many more currently in development, each designed to help readers encounter the people of the Bible in a fresh and meaningful way. Whether the individual was remembered for remarkable faith or tragic failure, every life points us toward a deeper understanding of God's grace, justice, mercy, and purpose.

Sebastian Lucido is the founder of Biblical Lessons From Lives and a Bible teacher with more than 30 years of experience dedicated to helping people understand and apply God's Word. His passion is to present Scripture with clarity, historical context, and practical application, making timeless biblical truth understandable and relevant for everyday life. 

Sebastian is also the founder and president of Watchers of Truth, a teaching ministry committed to proclaiming the truth of God's Word without compromise. Through Bible studies, podcasts, video teaching, conferences, radio, social media, and digital resources, Watchers of Truth exists to equip believers, strengthen the Church, and encourage people to build their lives on the unchanging authority of Scripture. The ministry's mission is simple: to make the Word of God loved, understood, and lived, while making the name of Jesus known and great. 

Sebastian believes that while doctrine is essential, God often teaches His greatest lessons through the lives of ordinary people recorded in Scripture. Their faith, failures, obedience, struggles, and redemption reveal the character of God and provide timeless wisdom for every generation. This conviction became the foundation of Biblical Lessons From Lives—a growing publishing ministry producing books, Bible studies, workbooks, devotionals, podcasts, and teaching resources that bring the people of the Bible to life.
